Baker’s Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) degree is a 36-hour program designed for the practicing classroom teacher who wants to enhance his or her teaching ability and stay abreast of current developments in the field. During this program, you will develop a strong base of relevant knowledge and have numerous opportunities for implementation and reflection.

Accelerated Classes – Our graduate education programs are designed to work with your existing schedule and lifestyle. Classes meet one night each week or on Saturday mornings during the school year and either during the day or in the evening for 6 or 7 weeks during the summer.

Apply and Start Anytime – Our classes are held year round with new classes starting every 6 or 7 weeks. Start a program at any time during the year and take classes at your own pace.

Applicable Courses – Our graduates consistently report that the knowledge they gain in class is immediately transferable to their daily professional lives.

Cohort Option – Our MAEd is also available in a cohort format for students who live a significant distance from one of our campuses.

If you join a cohort group, you will meet at a local facility one night each week for the duration of the program. Contact Baker to find a cohort forming in your area.
