Many options are available for educators.  Whether you are looking to enhance your teaching skills or preparing for an administrative position, Baker University has what you need.

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) degree is a 36-hour program designed for the practicing classroom teacher who wants to enhance his or her teaching ability and stay abreast of current developments in the field. During this program, you will develop a strong base of relevant knowledge and have numerous opportunities for implementation and reflection.

The Master of Arts in School Leadership (MASL) degree is a 37-hour program that prepares future administrators for the issues and challenges that will confront their schools. During this program, you will acquire the leadership skills, knowledge, and practical experience necessary to become a successful licensed school administrator.

The Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) and the District Leadership Licensure (DLL) program is designed to prepare candidates for district level administrative positions and/or for leadership positions in a variety of positions within the educational community. The program involves an in-depth study of leadership issues within the educational community.

The Restricted Licensure program is a 26-credit program for individuals seeking initial licensure.  Applicants possess a bachelor’s degree and must gain a teaching position in Kansas.  Candidates may elect to complete an additional 15 credits to be awarded the Master of Arts in Education degree.
