Learning Team Handbook

Throughout their educational careers in the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, all business and management students work in learning teams. These teams meet a minimum of four hours each week to complete assignments and to support each other. These meetings should be face-to-face for on-ground courses; online courses can meet electronically.

Students form their learning teams in their first Baker class. Teams must begin with at least four members, and Baker recommends that students stay in the same learning team throughout the program. Each learning team prepares its own constitution, addressing issues of operation and responsibility, and making sure that all members contribute equally to assignments and activities.
