Schedule a Makeup or External Examination
You may schedule makeup examinations for any of our courses by emailing the PLA Center at least three days in advance of your desired examination date.   Examinations should be scheduled during regular business hours. You are responsible for scheduling the examination and coordinating with the instructor to have the requisite materials sent to us in the PLA Center.   If you are a current Baker student, you will not be charged for Baker course exams.

Should I or my instructor schedule my makeup exam?
It is your responsibility to schedule the makeup exam through the PLA Center.
Who contacts the instructor to arrange for examination materials?
You are responsible for arranging for examination materials to be sent to us in the PLA Center. We will secure the materials and return them to the instructor after the exam is administered.

What if I can’t get off work during business hours to take an exam?
If it is impossible for you to come in during normal business hours, please contact us to discuss alternatives. We will work with you to find a mutually satisfactory time to administer your exam.

Is there a charge for proctoring examinations?
We don’t charge any fees for current Baker University students who are taking exams for courses taught at Baker University.

Who arranges for external exam materials to be sent to the PLA Center and returned to the parent organization?
You are responsible for having any examination materials sent to our PLA Center. We will return completed examinations in accordance with the policy established by the institution or organization who furnishes the examination. Any costs for postage or shipping must be paid in advance.
