The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and the Defense Activity for Non Traditional Education Support (DANTES) Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) are nationally recognized testing programs that give you the opportunity to receive college credit for learning acquired outside the traditional college classroom. These programs make it easier for you to complete your degree program more quickly and at a reduced cost. We offer both CLEP and DANTES examinations in our Overland Park office. DANTES exams are also offered in Topeka and Wichita. All CLEP examinations are administered on computer, while DANTES exams are paper-based.

After Academic Advisors approve your exam(s), contact the PLA Center to register for your exam. Once you download and complete the appropriate registration form above, mail it, along with a $20 Test Center Fee (TCF), to:

Our TCF is a nonrefundable fee payable by check or credit card. A seat will be reserved for you when we receive your registration form and TCF. Please note that we must receive your DANTES registration at least three weeks (21 days) in advance of your requested exam date. We fill available CLEP exam seats on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registrations for Overland Park, Topeka, and Wichita exam dates should be sent to the PLA Center in Overland Park.
